ScoopRadar gives your van a live link, a window QR code and alerts for your customers. Free for van owners, with no commission.
Add your van, your council consent, food registration and insurance details. We check them by hand.
You get your own van page and a QR code for your window. Post the link to your Facebook page in one tap.
That is it. You drop off the map on your own when you finish.
You do not need us to have thousands of users. Your link works with the customers you already have.
Customers tap your link and see where you are, with no app to install.
Scan it at the hatch and they can follow your van for next time.
Publish your areas and rough times, so people know when to expect you, even when you are not live.
Chimes have to stop at 7pm. A nearby alert to people who follow you does not break that rule.
Yes. Your listing, live tracking and customer alerts are free, and we take no cut of what you sell. The service is paid for by local sponsors.
Your live position and any round you publish are public, so anyone can see them, including other vans. You choose what to share. You can run on live tracking only, or publish rough areas without exact streets.
Yes. One button takes you and your round off the map straight away, and you stay off until midnight unless you choose to come back. You also go off the map on your own after 10 hours or if your phone stops sending.
No. Save your home or yard and we never show your position within 300 metres of it. We do not show your past journeys to anyone.
No. You tap once when you are parked, then leave it alone. Never hold your phone while driving.
Only real vans go on the map. It protects your name from fake listings. Showing on the map does not change where you are allowed to trade, so keep to your council's rules.
Yes. Add every van to one account and each gets its own pin, link, round and checks. Invite each driver with a code. They can go live, hide and finish, but cannot see your documents or your other vans.
Any recent iPhone or Android. Keeping it on a charger in a cradle works best, and a cheap spare phone is fine.
